Calling the Sacramento Filipinx community: elders, parents, students, youth, and everyone in between.
Join Ugnay Filipino and Christy Tonel, MPH, RYT for an afternoon of community care rooted in healing justice, where rest, movement, and wellness are shared as a collective practice.
We’ll explore gentle, accessible offerings inspired by Southeast Asian healing traditions like Yoga, Shiatsu, and Hilot. Practices are adapted for all bodies and abilities.
On Saturday, February 7th from 2:30 to 4:30 PM at the South Natomas Public Library, let’s tend to our health, ease stress, and uplift one another, honoring the belief that care is not a luxury but a right our community deserves.
Walk-ins are welcome and RSVP is not required—but is recommended, as we will have limited supplies (mats, blankets, etc.) available.
